We have all been dreading this time of year so we are sorry to annouce that Winter is here!!!!

Our gorgeous new winter menu is now availble to sample and warm you up on these chilly days, and it has some new and exciting things to taste:

• Scrummy Breakfast Selection
• Hearty Stews - which are all Gluten Free
• Toasted Sandwiches with a choice of our new homemade coleslaw, crisps or seasonal salad

Organic matcha tea has arrived at Evergreen!

Matcha green tea, also known as the superhero of teas, has landed at Evergreen!

Matcha is a super concentrated green powder containing:

• 137 times the antioxidants of standard green tea
• 70 times the antioxidants of orange juice
• 9 times the beta carotene of spinach

New to Evergreen Art Cafe for 2011

Firstly, Happy new year to everyone!

Hope everybody enjoyed a nice break over the Christmas period and are excited for the year ahead. We certainly are!

There is lots of new and exciting things to look forward to in 2011, including the arrival of our new super power ‘matcha’ green tea - perfect for those in need of a detox after a rather indulgent Christmas. (One spoonful has the goodness of 137 cups of green tea! Amazing!)

We sell matcha tea in store as well as the various other flavours of tea pigs. Our special evergreen blend of fair-trade coffee is also available to buy here – We now do ‘create your own’ evergreen hampers full of tea pigs, chutneys and coffee which make great gifts.

Something we’re looking to do in 2011 is to encourage customers to host their own club nights and events here at Evergreen. The art café is a diverse and exciting venue and we are very versatile in what we can offer you. If you are interested in either running or simply participating in any sort of club, do not hesitate to contact us for more information. It could be anything – painting, knitting, card making, cake making etc. Be creative!

Other plans for the year ahead include a monthly farmers market/hot dog stall outside Evergreen, selling local Northamptonshire produce supplied by our friends at Limes Farm. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any events - they are always worth a visit.

As well as all of this, we have all our usual delights in the shop. We have a great selection of toasted sandwiches and savoury food and of course all our delicious cakes. We have a wide choice of vegetarian options and also some gluten free options too.

New Autumn/Winter Menu

After much anticipation our new warming winter menu is now being served in the cafe, perfect for these cold and frosty days!

We have a whole new range of toasted sandwiches and flavourful soups and lots of new sweet treats too.

Along with our old favourites there are new additions such as Muffin of the week, Sweet Potato and Chorizo savoury tart and The New Evergreen Club, Emmental and Mushroom toasted sandwich.
